As you can tell from my video page, I produce a ton of videos for my husband. I love making them and putting fun edits in to keep things lively, but lately it's felt like I've been doing the same video over and over. So to change that, I've asked him to bring me some new and unique shots that I can edit in throughout the way so it doesn't feel redundant. Last week, he took Kigs and headed out to Lake Minnetonka with GoPro's in hand and did he ever deliver! He got me so many great shots to work with that all we really needed to finish it off was his talking portion which we filmed while out on Lake Mille Lacs last weekend. The video is about sightfishing on spawning beds and showcases the Biovex Kolt Fish Tail. This was super fun to edit and even if you're not into fishing it's pretty fun to watch because there is a ton of underwater footage. Just going through all of it, I learned a ton about the habits of bass and pan fish. Hope you enjoy it!
You may recall a few weeks ago when Josh and I were down in the Lake of the Ozarks for the weekend and we made a video for Navionics about their new Updates Card. Well, the folks over there liked it so much that they asked us to make a follow up video about another new product of theirs – the Navionics+ Preloaded card. Naturally, I said “oh heck yeah” and got right on it! Once the product was delivered to us, we headed down to the Mississippi River to get the footage we needed. Of course I couldn't resist a mini photo sesh with Josh and one of our friends, Parker, who was looking for some updated media content. Once there's more foliage on the trees around here we're going to head back out and do some close up shots, but for now I got a few great action shots of his new Phoenix Boat.
We're a big fan of entertaining in our home. A few weeks ago we hosted our good friends James and Luanne. Every time my girl Lu comes over for dinner I can count on her to bring a tasty new salad for us to try and she definitely didn't disappoint. In fact, it was so tasty I'm going to share it with you here today. The great thing is that this salad is the epitome of clean eating. All of the ingredients are in their rawest form and brought together with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar at the end.
When I was a little girl, baking was one of my favorite hobbies. One of my favorite recipes was these Greek Yogurt Muffins. They were super simple to make and my mom always seemed to have the right ingredients in the house for them at all times. So whenever I knew she was having a bad day at work, I would make these for her after I got home from school to cheer her up. Even to this day, I still make these to cheer people up (myself included) and it works every time! The great thing about them is that they are pretty healthy for muffins since there are no eggs but include greek yogurt and almond milk. The fruit can easily be substituted for whatever you have around. I've used blueberries, apples, bananas, cranberries and they all hold up really well in this recipe. Be sure to watch the full instructional video at the end!
Hey there -
I'm Bri! Lover of food, wine, and photography that is currently traveling with my professional bass fishing husband along with our cantankerous rottie, Kigen.
