Have you ever made something so good that after you taste the finished product, it puts all other experiences you’ve previously had to shame? Enter the biscuits and gravy that I made yesterday. There’s been some leftover buttermilk in my fridge that needed to be used up and I’ve had a hankerin’ for biscuits and gravy for awhile now. Seems like a match made, no? Now, I love me a good biscuit but I’ve never really made a successful one before. They always seem to be too dense or crumbly, but while I was perusing Pinterest the other day I came across this recipe by The Chunky Chef. They were quite easy to make and came out fluffy, flaky and perfect! My husband along with our friend, Andy, were my guinea pigs for this endeavor and according to them, these were the best they have ever eaten! Pretty tall order considering they both travel across the country for a living and are eating out constantly. If you have about 15 minutes, I highly recommend you give them a try. You will not regret it! I mean, come on. How good do these look?????
