We’re a really big fan of eating as clean as possible in our household. If something can be made from scratch, then we are doing it. This also translates to the pupper. I only want what’s best for him and if you’ve ever read any of the dog treat food labels out there, you’ll find a long list of ingredients that don’t sound like any sort of food I would feed myself let alone my bestie. There are a bunch of dog treat recipes out there, but my favorite one that I’ve made is the Breath Busters. I will be the first one to tell you that I am terrible at brushing my dogs teeth. And even though these are in no way, shape, or form a substitute for a solid tooth brushing, the fresh mint certainly does help with his morning breath! They’re really easy to make and if you don’t have the cute doggy cookie cut-outs, they will never know the difference!
